Join us for free DadTime® every Saturday morning at Virginia Avenue Park. Facilitated by Ben Swett, Founder and Executive Director of Early Engagement, kids play freely in an engaging environment while dads hang out and learn tactics to make life easier.
Let mom sleep in, and spend your Saturday mornings with us— there’s free coffee, and the Pico Boulevard Farmer’s Market is just outside!
Provided for free through a partnership between SMMUSD’s Child Development Services, the City of Santa Monica, and Early Engagement.

DadTime® is a play group for dads and their infants and toddlers. Kids play freely with structures and toys that encourage exploration and active play. Dads engage with their kids in a relaxed environment and connect with other dads in their community.

StrongStart® programs are oriented towards supporting dads and the unique role they play—but all caregivers are welcome!

Yes! This incredible program is provided for free through a partnership between the SMMUSD Child Development Service, Early Engagement, and the City of Santa Monica.

The sessions are led by a Strong Start® expert, providing the kind of tips you’ll use all the time. Topics include setting boundaries, respect-based parenting tactics, and any other questions that arise!

Arrive with your child (0-3), take a seat on the mat, and let your child explore climbers, books, blocks, and toys. Work with other dads to create an environment that support social and emotional learning.
