I always felt there was a disconnect between who I was and the expectations placed on me. As an adult, I realized that much of my identity was shaped by the parenting I received, and not always in ways that felt true to who I was. It took years of introspection and self-work to rediscover my authentic self.

I did a lot of work as an adult to separate who I was from how I was parented. Early Engagement is here to help more children grow up as their authentic selves, so they don’t have to look for them later. This course was a revelation. It wasn't just about the mechanics of parenting or the dos and don'ts. It was about understanding the profound impact our actions, words, and even unspoken expectations can have on our children's sense of self.
